Batumi, Vazha-Pshavela Street N28
Brief Description:
This stone two-story house, built at the turn of the 19th-20th century, was owned by Ter-Oganizov. The building has a V-shaped layout and is part of a dense urban development. The main façade, designed in Renaissance-Baroque style, faces the street.
The facade is highlighted by projecting rizzalits at the edges, with rectangular oriel windows further emphasizing the building s design. On these modillions, sculpted heads of cherubs are featured.
The plastered wall, painted in light blue, features white decorative elements such as half-columns, corbels, garlands, and other details that stand out beautifully against the background.
In the areas of the rizzalits, there are arched entrances: on the left, a four-winged decorated wooden door leads to the entrance, while on the right, a metal ornate gate gives access to the yard.
The building, notable for its refined proportions, high construction quality, and rich decoration, stands out as one of the finest examples of architecture in Batumi.
