Batumi, Merab Kostava Street No. 32
Brief description of the monument:
This single-story house, built in the early 20th century by an unknown Turkish citizen whose identity has not been preserved, is constructed of stone and brick. The main entrance doorway is located slightly left of the façade s center, flanked symmetrically by rectangular window openings framed with profiled moldings. These windows are adorned at the top with architraves supported by decorative brackets, while a profiled horizontal belt decorates their lower sections.
The building features a profiled cornice beneath which runs an ornamental band of wavy motifs characteristic of the Art Nouveau style. The house is notable for its Art Nouveau façade elements, as well as its high-quality craftsmanship and refined construction technique.
