Batumi, Vazha-Pshavela Street N27
Brief Description:
This single-story house, likely built at the beginning of the 20th century, is roofed with tiles. It has a short main façade that faces the street and a longer side wall that extends along the yard.
The plastered main facade is painted yellow, while the architectural elements, such as arched window frames marked with relief stones, pilasters with fluted details at the edges of the walls, and a profiled cornice, are all painted white.
The entrance door is located at the right edge of the façade, while access to the yard is available through a metal gate.
On the yard side, the house is in ruins, with the front wall of the porch completely collapsed, the flooring destroyed, and parts of the ceiling collapsed. Despite the poor physical condition, the house retains its original layout, proportions, and architectural design for the main façade.
This house plays an important role in preserving the historical appearance and scale of the Vazha-Pshavela Street section.
