Batumi, Vazha-Pshavela Street N25 / Zurab Gorgiladze Street N17
Brief Description:
This one-story house with a mansard, built at the end of the 19th century, is located at the intersection of two streets. The gray stone base is complemented by plastered walls, which are painted in a yellowish hue. The decorative elements on the façade are accentuated in green.
The arched window openings are framed by profiled architraves, with relief stones above them. Pilasters are placed along the central walls, and the horizontal belt between the floors, as well as the rectangular blocks above and below the windows, are taken from the Renaissance architectural repertoire. The mansard roof follows the same design as the main structure.
The section of the house facing the inner yard has been completely altered due to later modifications.
This building plays a significant role in shaping the scale and architectural character of the two streets.
