Batumi, Demetre Tavdadebuli St. N13
Brief Description of the Building:
This one-story building, constructed in the 20th century, features a high basement. The right corner of the façade houses the entrance to the stairwell, above which is a metal canopy. The five rectangular-shaped windows are framed with profiled moldings. Above the windows, there are architrave lintels supported by corbels, and at the lower level, the façade is divided by a profiled belt. Between the windows and the belt, there is a rectangular area.
The basement section is decorated with a decorative plaster finish that mimics square shapes. It has five small windows, and their upper parts are detailed with imitations of keystone stones. The building is topped with a profiled cornice, beneath which is a row of tooth-shaped ornaments.
The building’s side façade is simple, while the rear façade, facing the yard, features a newly installed iron balcony. This residential building stands out for its well-executed façade, the measured use of decorative elements, and high-quality craftsmanship.
