Building at Giorgi Mazniashvili Street N3 / Memed Abashidze Street N13, Batumi
Brief Description of the Building:
This three-story building was constructed at the beginning of the 20th century and was owned by Bronberg, containing 22 rooms. It also housed the Consulate of Italy.
Located at the intersection of two streets, the building s facades are identically designed. Initially, the building was two stories tall, and the third story was added shortly thereafter. The façades are decorated with slightly raised decorative pilasters and profiled horizontal belt courses. The window and door openings on all three floors are rectangular, with simple surrounds.
On the second and third floors of the building’s corner section, a continuous balcony runs along the façade, spanning the entire length of the walls. The balcony is adorned with a metal, ornate railing and an arched roof.
The building s original fence also reflects a unique design.
