Batumi, S. Zubalashvili Street No. 38
Brief description of the monument:
This single-story, L-shaped house was constructed at the end of the 19th century and rests on a low basement (socle). The façade is segmented by rectangular openings, with a veranda enclosed by a metal railing at the right edge serving as an entrance porch. The basement and wall surfaces are decorated with rectangular plaster panels placed below and above the windows, which are framed by profiled moldings. Sculpted decorative elements also adorn the door lintels. Unfortunately, significant portions of this sculpted decoration have been damaged due to the raising of one of the doors.
On the courtyard side, the building includes a glazed wooden veranda (shushabandi), currently in poor physical condition. The structure forms part of the historic urban fabric of the street, contributing to the area s overall architectural character.
