Brief Description of the Building:
This residential building was likely constructed at the end of the 19th century and belonged to Tekh Mikhaelian. Next to the house, in the area where a public garden currently stands, there used to be a carriage and horse stable. On the courtyard side, the building was connected to a service wing for domestic staff. The two-story residential house is part of the perimeter block development, with wings extending at the rear that enclose an inner courtyard.

The courtyard façade preserves its original glazed balconies, though altered with various materials, compromising their original appearance. A wooden cornice with dentils is still preserved. The arched ceiling of the courtyard passage includes molded concentric circles.
This residential building represents a significant architectural element of the street and is an excellent example of late 19th-century urban residential design in Batumi.
