Batumi, Demetre Tavdadebuli St. N41 / Pharnavaz Mepe St. N63
Brief Description of the Building:
This one-story corner building, constructed in the early 20th century, features a high basement and is made of stone with plastered walls. The basement section is rusticated. The main floor façades are painted in a grayish color and are divided by rectangular, profiled, framed openings. In the center of each opening is a modern-style key stone, with a rough surface, and a wide lintel that extends along the window.
The wall surfaces between the openings are marked with horizontal grooves. The bases of the windows are highlighted with cut rectangular sections, which also have a textured surface. The building is completed with a profiled cornice.
This early 20th-century building, with its restrained decoration and modest proportions, is seamlessly integrated into the character of the streets urban development.
