Adjara Cultural Heritage Protection Agency carries out the restoration/rehabilitation of temples, cult buildings, fortresses, and urban monuments in the Adjara region permanently. During the past year, in the historical part of the city of Batumi, at #36 Farnavaz Mefe St., a complete restoration of the urban monument was carried out, which is an interesting and important building with its facade structure and artistic decoration. Also, at #11 Luka Asatiani St., the entire facade of the monument was restored, and the entrance hall, which is distinguished by the Batumi-type ornamental railing, was restored. 744,000 GEL has been spent on the restoration of the mentioned urban monuments. The restoration process of cultural heritage monuments will achieve a larger scale next year!
