With the support of Adjara Cultural Heritage Preservation Agency and funded by Foundation "Cartu",rehabilitation works of st.Theodore Adjara Church in Batumi N35 K.Gamsakhurdia are underway (budjet 7 00000 GEL). The church was in dire condition in need of urgent rehabilitation work. At this stage , the roofing works of the temple are underway .Rehabilitation project have been purchased in 2017 by the Cultural Heritage preservation Agency .The church is built in the XIX century.The building had the function of a Chapel until the twenty years. During the Soviet time, the church was converted into a gymnasium .Today it is owned by the Georgian Orthodox Church. The works are carried out by LTD "Tao-Tbeli".
