A presentation and various types of cognitive entertainment activities on the topic - „Roman Weapons” – were held for the 5th-grade pupils of Batumi “Mega School” (pedagogue – Tatuli Motskobili). Those activities involved information on the composition of the Roman army-legion, military tactics, types of basic and auxiliary weapons of a legion, and the significance of shields (scutum), swords (gladius) and spears (pilum).

The lesson was led by Kakhaber Kamadadze – Scientific-Researcher of the Cultural Heritage Protection Agency of Ajara.
