Cultural Heritage Preservation Agency of Ajara continues making infrastructures of Gonio-Apsaros Museum-reserve with the support of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports of Ajara. The Agency has purchased a project of Roman Cantonment. The Agency will arrange the cantonment and supply combative and engineering inventory (a hanger, crane, analogies of Roman economic objects, etc.).

On the first stage a Roman combative carriage has been purchased. A tender to purchase and arrange a hanger, an amphitheatre and tents is declared.

The Chairman of Ajara AR Government Tornike Rizhvadze with his wife and children visited Gonio-Apsaros Fortress and familiarized with the project “Roman Cantonment”. They also saw the new discovers revealed during the last excavations.
