The restoration of the Khinotsminda monastery in Kobuleti municipality has started, and "Khinotsmindoba" has been celebrated.

According to the decision of the government of Adjara, the restoration works of the monastery are ongoing from 2022.

Khinotsminda Church is a monument of the 9th century, which was an episcopal center for centuries, and its rehabilitation has special cultural value.

Honorary Khinotsminda residents were awarded within the framework of the public holiday. A concert of folk ensembles was held.

The rehabilitation works of Khinotsminda will be completed by the end of 2023.
