On the initiative of the Agency for Cultural Heritage Preservation of Ajara, the accounting documentation on traditional dish "Borano" was send for granting of the status of the intangible cultural heritage on the list of National Agency for Protection of Cultural Heritage of georgia. According to the order of the Director of Agency, Nikoloz Antidze, Borano has been granted with intangible cultural heritage status. Borano is a traditional dish of Ajarian cuisine, which is based on the development of cattle breeding, in particular dairy products.
