The 19^th European Summit of Salzburg, supported by the Chancellor of Austria and organized by the Institute of the Regions of Europe (IRE), was attended by Davit Gabaidze, the Chairman of the Supreme Council of Autonomous Republic of Adjara, Zaur Akhvlediani, the Deputy Minister of Education, Culture and Sports, Zaza Shavadze, the Minister of Agriculture of Adjara, Marine Gvianidze, the Chairperson of the Committee for Finance-Budgeting and Economic Issues and Salome Kurasbediani, the member of the Parliament of Georgia.

Before the summit, the report on the activity (including financial) of the IRE was introduced to the members of the delegation at the General Assembly of the Institute of the Regions of Europe

The Georgian delegation was invited to Salzburg by Franz Schausberger, the President of the IRE.
