Within an educational project “Intangible Cultural Heritage” organized by Cultural Heritage Preservation Agency of Ajara, a cognitive activity was held. The participants of the activity were beneficiaries of the NNLE day care centre of “Ialkani” and pupils of Batumi Art School.
The pupils received information about the essence and importance of intangible cultural heritage. Also they took part in a masterclass and painted umbrellas with patterns of Georgian intangible cultural heritage which are included in the World Heritage list.
Furthermore, Youth Palace folk music group “Iberioni” and Gonio public school dance ensemble “Machakhela” participated in the project.
The deputy of the Minister of Education, Culture and Sports of Ajara Teona Beridze attended the event.
