At the Shota Mamuladze Gonio Scientific Research Center, students of the Vocational Educational College “New Magic” were given a lecture on the topic of cultural heritage.

During the lecture, they talked about the importance of cultural heritage, the attitude towards them, archaeological monuments and artifacts as cultural heritage. As well as the methods of their care, preservation and protection.

Attention was drawn on issues of urban cultural heritage, including the values ​​of urban spaces and the need for their protection.

The lecture was led by Sophio Sanikidze, Deputy Director of the Cultural Heritage Protection Agency of Adjara, Kakhaber Qamadadze, a researcher at the agency, and Giorgi Bolkvadze, a restorer.

 The goal of the event is to raise awareness of cultural heritage among students.
