Another new museum space has opened on the territory of the Petra Fortress, allowing visitors to get acquainted with new exhibits.

 A special place in the new space is dedicated  to the unique mosaic, which was discovered years ago as a result of archaeological excavations at Petra Fortress. The restoration of the mosaic has just been completed.

 The restoration was jointly worked on by restorers of the Cultural Heritage Protection Agency of Adjara  and a specialist invited from Poland. This cooperation once again emphasizes the importance of international partnership in the protection and preservation of cultural heritage.
