For the first time this year, the Youth Regional Centre, together with the Cultural Heritage Preservation Agency of Adjara, implemented a camp-type cognitive event “Following the history”.

The event was attended by young people interested in archaeology and history who were able to engage in archaeological excavations and field activities on the adjacent territory of Gonio Fortress.

Today, the young people engaged in the project were awarded certificates and symbolic gifts by the head of the Cultural Heritage Preservation Agency of Adjara – Zaur Akhvlediani and the head of the Youth Regional Centre – Tamar Gabaidze.

At the end of the event, the participants discussed about the future perspectives in this regard.
