The public discussion of priorities of 2019 of Ajara Cultural Heritage Preservation Agency has conducted today in the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports of Ajara.

The program: “Protection, popularization and development of cultural heritage” includes rehabilitation and conservation of immovable cultural heritage in Ajara, creating infrastructures of museum-reserves, archaeological researches in Ajara, popularization of cultural monuments and support of marketing.

Following will be realized within the program by the agency:

Rehabilitation of the Abuserisdze Ancestral Fortress in Khikhani;

Purchase of the rehabilitation project of urban heritage monuments;

Purchase of the rehabilitation project of an urban heritage monument located in 3, Komakhidze St., Batumi;

Creating infrastructures of architectural-archaeological complexes of Petra and Gonio fortresses;

Realization of archaeological expeditions and informative events;

The budget of the program - 2 293 000 Gel.
