  • International Seminar: “Black Sea Cultural Heritage Sites - Reality and Prospects” - 25 აპრილი, 2025

     

     On the occasion of the International Day of Monuments and Sites, Cultural Heritage Protection Agency of Adjara organized a seminar on the topic: “Black Sea Cultural Heritage Sites - Reality and Prospects”. Both Georgian and foreign specialists participated in the conference.

    Cultural Heritage Protection Agency of Adjara  holds similar seminars every year, through which the experience of the Black Sea Basin countries regarding cultural heritage sites is shared, communication between specialists is increased, and new scientific-research and cultural-educational relations are organized in the future.

    The conference was opened by the Head of Cultural Heritage Protection Agency of Adjara Zaur Akhvlediani. He introduced the audience to the ongoing and planned projects by the Agency and spoke about the importance of this day.

    The topics of the scientific events included various fields of ethnology, history and folklore.

    The seminar was attended by the Chairman of the Supreme Council of Autonomous Region of Adjara David Gabaidze, First Deputy Minister of Culture Lado Mgaloblishvili, Minister of Education and Sports Maia Khajishvili, Vice-Mayor of Batumi Nukri Dekanadze, Deputy Director General of the Georgian National Agency Paata Gaprindashvili, deputies of the Supreme Council of Adjara and representatives of various spheres of society.
