Dzentsmani mosque is located in the village Dzentsmani, Keda Municipality. It dates back to the XIX c. and almost completely preserves its authenticity and represents an example of Georgian cultic architecture. The project considers the restoration of the ground-floor walls, arrangement of the drainage system and hydro-isolation, restoration of the damaged wooden materials and processing with a special solution, restoration of the decorative ornaments according to the existing samples.
Zvare mosque is located in Keda Municipality and represents a unique example of Georgian architecture of the XIX c. It is a double-storey building on a stone socle, representing an architectural variation of a traditional Lazian house.
Such mosques were mainly built by Ajarian and Laz masters and are decorated with various unique ornaments – the tree of life, Borjgali, vine.
The said mosques, as the monuments of the cultural heritage, have numerous artistic values and thus, their rehabilitation is highly significant.
The project will be carried out within two years and its budget is 650 000 GEL.
