The excavations of Petra Fortress in 2024 were quite productive. The certain parameters of the Early Byzantine period wall were specified; the study of the water supply system of the Late Medieval era was completed; new interesting artefacts were added to the archaeological findings of Petra Fortress. The detailed research of the internal space of the newly discovered Early Byzantine period building is planned for the next year. (The head of the expedition – Giorgi Tavamaishvili)
