On the initiative of the Adjara Cultural Heritage Protection Agency, a literary saloon evening - "Rendez-vous in the bookstore" was held in the monument, Memed Abashidze Street N25.

 

Within the framework of the event, the atmosphere that existed in the mentioned building for years revived. Salon talks and book presentations were held. A theatrical composition of poetry was organized.

 

The event was decorated musically by Temur Chkuaseli, a soloist of Georgian voices. Deputies of the Supreme Council of Adjara, Deputy Ministers of Education, Culture, and Sports, the Chairman of the Batumi City Council, and representatives of various fields of society attended the meeting.

 

This event serves to popularize the urban monument!
