The work of placing information boards on buildings with monument status continues throughout the city. Through the QR code, residents of Batumi and city guests will learn about the monument both in Georgian and English.
The work is almost complete and in total more than 200 objects will have QR codes. After scanning the code with a mobile phone, the official website of the agency is automatically searched, which allows you to find out detailed information about a specific monument.
The agency initially placed QR codes on a small part of the buildings in a test mode, with its own budget, which resulted in great interest from tourists. Later, the QR boards and their placement service were purchased through a tender.
