The photo exhibition “Old Batumi on a Photo”, organized by the Cultural Heritage Preservation Agency of Adjara, has been held today at Batumi Art Teaching University.

The Head of the Agency, Zaur Akhvlediani spoke about the importance of the photos of old Batumi preserved in the personal archive of photographer-collector Nikoloz Shermadini, presented at the exhibition.

The photographers acting in Batumi were awarded at the event.

The event musical accompaniment was performed by the pupils of Z. Paliashvili Music School.

The event was attended by Davit Gabaidze, the Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara, Deputies of the Supreme Council – Tite Aroshidze and David Batsikadze, the representatives of the Batumi Municipality City Council and other invited guests.
